Training
The Maxi's Training Department offers intensive training to Franchisee's, management and staff. The training is split into two parts: theory training conducted at one of the regional offices around the country, and practical training in-store at a designated training store.
Franchisees and Managers
Five weeks of intensive training is provided on the business and operations of Maxi's Restaurant.
Scope of the training includes:
- Introduction to franchising
- Stock management
- Basic business skills
- Finance
- Store administration
- Human resources management
- P.O.S training (computer training)
- Marketing
In addition, all franchisees and managers follow the same theory curriculum followed by all kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Kitchen & Front of House Staff
All Kitchen and Front of House Staff undergo a four week training program. This program is split into two parts:
- One weeks theory
- Three weeks practical training
Ongoing Training
The Maxi's Training Department also provides ongoing training for existing staff as well as for new staff entering the system. Courses for both kitchen and front-of-house staff are held on a regular basis.
Skilled franchise consultants visit stores on a regular basis and perform on site evaluations and on the job training.
